Welcome to March!
It seems that it has been a really wild ride on the weather crazy train this month!
From high winds to snow and ice, it has been a hard to keep production up on the jobsites. With the time change and now that spring is getting closer, I feel that we have great opportunities to make up for lost time due to weather!
Our chapter is growing by a substantial rate! In our BOD meeting last week, we have acquired since September, 10 NEW MEMBERS! Far exceeding our expectations and over the 10% increase in the goal. So, don’t rest on our laurels, we can achieve a 20% increase if we keep up this pace! We are growing again, and I feel we are leading the Mid Atlantic Region in membership growth and retention! We will find out at the regional conference.
By the way, I need to mention that the Mid Atlantic Regional Conference will be held in Winchester Va on April 19-22. Please make every effort to attend this close conference and support the other Virginia chapter! There will be carpooling discussions as we get closer to the event, please stay tuned to for further details.
Our monthly meeting/networking event will be held at Kjellstrom & Lee GC on March 22 @530-7pm. The topic will be an overview of the current VCU Masterplan as presented by Rich Sliwoski. Please check the website for further information and tickets to the event.
And last but not least…..OUR PRODUCT SHOW IS FAST APPROACHING!
Jon Anderson, the chairperson, and his committee has been diligently working the email chains and we are approximately 60% SOLD! We have several presentations to review and it looks to be a very exciting and successful event. Keep watching your email for further updates and information to be released soon!
Sorry for the lengthy message, but we are moving fast and growing! Please make every effort to attend our events, you won’t be sorry!!
Thanks for all you do for YOUR CHAPTER!
Note: Last month I hid a clue to a “racing reference”, that was won by Jon. Roosting is a Motocross term used to refer to the dirt flying up!
Now, there is an “Easter Egg” in this month’s report, one that is “musical”.
